Karen is a Chartered Surveyor and has worked predominately in the private sector, spending seven years with Norwich Union before moving back to London to work in development. Karen has extensive property experience covering investment & funding, transacting complex legal agreements and development. She is passionate about quality of design and is a champion of good architecture.
Karen moved into the regeneration arena seven years ago, believing in that a large scale comprehensive approach, based on place making and good architecture, is the best way to address problems in our towns and cities.
Karen joined Forward Swindon as Chief Executive in June 2010 following a stint with Urban Regeneration Company Regenco based in the West Midlands.
