Forward Swindon organised the SSEP conference on 8th February 2011. It was included as part of the Business Show Swindon led by GWE Business West.
100 delegates heard from Steve Blore, Chair of the Plan 500 group, Peter Beech-Allen of the Enterprise Group and Robert Gardner, Chief Economist at Nationwide.
A Q and A panel with local business lenders led to some interesting debate about how best to improve the environment for enterprise in Swindon.
The Business Show Swindon was a great success, with over 80 stands, a business breakfast hosted by Swindon Chamber of Commerce, and a range of seminars organised by GWE Business West. Forward Swindon exhibited and used it as a valuable opportunity to meet local business people.
