Forward Swindon have produced viability studies and concept designs, with outline planning now approved subject to s106 agreement.

The Council is now seeking expressions of interest from potential development partners to develop the site of the former Aspen House in order to enhance Swindon town centre.

The site is being offering for sale for a mixed – predominantly residential scheme – outline planning has been granted for up to 118 units; comprising 1 and 2 bed apartments within a multi storey structure up to 13 stories. The full development proposal also includes a wide range of commercial uses on the ground floor to create a new retail ‘loop’ between the Brunel Centre and Regent Street via Commercial Road.
