One of Forward Swindon's key roles is to drive the positioning of Swindon, already the home of many successful and innovative organisations, as a great location for business and living. By attracting new businesses we can help deliver the aim of growing the economy 'For Swindon'.

To encourage businesses to come to Swindon so that we can support economic growth, Forward Swindon will, during 2012, be introducing a new inward investment service supported by place promotion.

Swindon has a wealth of outstanding features – many of which are unknown. For example, did you know that Swindon is home to the UK’s Space Agency, seven UK Research Councils and the Technology Strategy Board – a hub of innovation.

There are over 6,000 businesses in the area
There are 40 industrial estates and business parks in and around the town
Swindon is located at the centre of the "high-tech M4 corridor" between London and Bristol – and you can connect to each of these cities by rail in less than an hour
